Andrew Johnson, DMSc, PA-C, received his Bachelor of Science from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and his Master of Physician Assistant Medicine (MPAM) and Doctorate of Medical Science degrees from the University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, Virginia. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, he was an EMT for the Harrisonburg Rescue Squad.
Mr. Johnson is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). His clinical interests include wound care and urgent care medicine. Mr. Johnson has published an article on the urgent care evaluation and management of geriatric falls in the Lynchburg Journal of Medical Science. In his free time, he enjoys the beach, fishing, kayaking, trying new foods, and watching soccer on the weekends with his wife and dog.
