Charles Erdman, MD, received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma.  He earned his medical degree from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Erdman completed his Surgical Internship and Emergency Medicine Residency at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA. He completed 16 years total service in the US Navy with multiple worldwide deployments.

Dr. Erdman is board certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Erdman is a highly skilled emergency medicine physician with over 20 years of experience with varying work environments from large academic hospital, level 2 trauma center to large and small community hospital settings. He has military operational experience in planning and executing in country and overseas large theater operations and contingency planning. He has served on multiple hospital committees. He is currently the ED medical director at a local large community hospital.

In his spare time, Dr. Erdman enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He also enjoys hiking, travel, fine cuisine, and exercising.
