Marilyn Kellam, MD graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She worked in PT for several years and as a clinical instructor in the school of PT at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Kellam went to Medical School at the Medical College of Virginia. She completed her internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her residency at the Medical College of Virginia focusing on Internal Medicine. She is board certified by the ABIM in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Kellam worked at a traditional inpatient and outpatient group practice in Nassawadox, Virginia for 27 years. She joined MALTC in 2013 so I could devote time solely to geriatrics in an unhurried setting, bringing office care to seniors solely in the comfort of their own home.
Dr. Kellam’s husband and his family are all Eastern Shore natives. They live on a quiet creek where they can canoe and enjoy the birds and other wildlife. Her other passion in addition to home, family, and work is music. She learned to sing late in life while participating in the now closed Trawler Dinner Theater and in 2000 Dr. Kellam joined the chorus of the Virginia Opera Association.
