Stephanie Mills FNP-C has been a partner in this practice caring for patients in skilled, long term care, and assisted living facilities throughout the Hampton Roads area, since January 2007. Her passion is housecalls to homebound adult patients. She has done housecalls off and on since 2001. Ms. Mills is now expanding the Housecalls Program at Mid-Atlantic Long Term Care.
Housecalls are available to homebound adults who are unable to leave the home due to physical debility or dementia. These services are available in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and some limited outlying areas. The primary care services are provided through a combination of in-home and virtual visits. In addition to primary care services, Mid-Atlantic Long Term Care is able to arrange for labs, x-rays, ultrasounds, and 12-lead EKGs in the home environment.
