Angela Whiteside is a Physician Assistant with Mid-Atlantic Long Term Care who strives to provide comprehensive and compassionate psychiatric care. Angela works with a diverse range of patients, including those with mood, anxiety, neurodevelopmental, cognitive, psychotic, personality, and substance use disorders. She is originally from Maryland, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in functional biology from Towson University. Angela spent many years working in long-term care as well as surgery before attending Eastern Virginia Medical School. She obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from EVMS and immediately began working in psychiatry. Angela particularly enjoys working with the geriatric population.
Angela resides in Chesapeake with her husband, Jeff, and their two dogs. She enjoys refinishing furniture and home improvement projects in her spare time.
