Carrie Thomas is a native of Virginia Beach. She graduated from Atlantic Shores high school in 2005. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from George Mason University in 2009. She then moved back to the area and worked at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital for 10 years as an RN in acute and critical care settings. She graduated with honors from University of Cincinnati with her Master’s of Science in Nursing and is now board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center. She loves to spend time with her two havanese dogs, Dobby and Luna.
