Leigh “Rhonda” Johnson is a Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Wounds, Ostomies and Foot Care. She has been in the nursing field for 20 years and is certified through the Wound Ostomy Continence Certification Board ®. She graduated from Sentara College of Health Professions with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Frontier Nursing University with her Masters of Science in Nursing. Prior to joining Mid Atlantic Long Term Care, Rhonda was employed at a local hospital where she managed the inpatient wound, ostomy, foot care department and outpatient ostomy clinic. She is active in the local ostomy community and support group. She is a member of the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society™ and attends the local monthly meetings as well as national conferences. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Rhonda has been married for 27 years, has two children and two grandchildren. She enjoys reading, crafting/scrapbooking and camping.
