Raina Winfrey, MD, received her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. She earned a Doctor of Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Winfrey completed an internship and residency in Family Medicine at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. After this, she worked in private practice, including owning her own office and as a hospitalist prior to joining Mid-Atlantic Post Acute and Long Term Care in 2006. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Winfrey is from Illinois and transplanted to Hampton Roads, Virginia in 2000. She enjoys ballroom dancing and painting in her free time. She lives with her husband on the Middle Peninsula.
