Christy Sorey is a nurse practitioner with Mid-Atlantic Long Term Care who partners closely with physicians in the company. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University in 2017. Christy enjoyed five fulfilling years in various specialties including medical-surgical intensive care, neurovascular intensive care, and cardiothoracic surgery in the Hampton Roads area. In 2022, she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University.
Christy completed her Family Nurse Practitioner clinical rotations locally with various skilled physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. She holds her license to practice as a nurse practitioner through the Virginia Department of Health Professions and is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Christy resides locally in Chesapeake with her husband, Matthew, and their 3-year-old daughter, Reese. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, being active, and going boating with family and friends.
