Richmond

Nathan Davenport, NP, has been a nurse practitioner for the past 9 yrs.  Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Nathan worked as a registered nurse for nearly 8 years at Parham Doctors Hospital.  During this time, he earned his master’s degree in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Nursing.  He started his nurse practitioner career working for internal medicine and then transitioned to cardiology where he worked for the next 7 years.  For the last 4 years, Nathan has concentrated on serving long term care facilities by being able to provide primary care to the residents of these care settings.  He joined Mid Atlantic Long Term Care in 2019 where he now works as a full-time medical provider.

In addition to caring for residents Nathan also enjoys working on his side hobby of real estate.  He enjoys rehabbing poorly maintained houses and returning them back to homes for people to live in and enjoy.  He also enjoys collecting comic books and fishing.  He enjoys watching Wake Forest football and basketball as he is part of the alumni where he graduated in 1999 with a BS in Health and Exercise Science.  Finally, he enjoys hanging out with his two wonderful children whenever he gets an opportunity.
