Laura Kitchens, MSN, FNP-C
Laura Kitchens is a Family Nurse Practitioner with Mid-Atlantic Long Term Care who partners closely with physicians in the company. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Laura has worked locally as a Registered Nurse for 15 years in varying departments like ICU, Information Technology, and most recently Labor & Delivery. While working as a Labor & Delivery nurse, she returned to Old Dominion University to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing. During her masters she completed various clinical rotations at local hospitals, private practices, and outpatient clinics with accomplished physicians and nurse practitioners.
Laura holds a license to practice as a nurse practitioner through the Virginia Department of Health Professions and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Laura resides locally in Virginia Beach with her husband Josh, and two children, Madeline and Cole. She loves the beach, camping, and most of all spending time with her friends and family.
