November is Home Care and Hospice Month!
During this month, we recognize the many nurses, home care aides, therapists, social workers, providers, caregivers, volunteers, and others that have dedicated their careers to making a difference for their patients and the families they serve. Thank you for all you do!
We’d like to take this opportunity to highlight our House Call program here at MALTC.
House calls are available to homebound adults who are unable to leave the home due to physical debility or dementia. These services are available in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and some limited outlying areas. The primary care services are provided through a combination of in-home and virtual visits. In addition to primary care services, Mid-Atlantic Long Term Care is able to arrange for labs, x-rays, ultrasounds, and 12-lead EKGs in the home environment.
