Shannon Morris, Psych PA-C

Shannon has lived most of her life in Hampton Roads, completing her bachelor’s degree at Old Dominion University and her master’s degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Prior to specializing in psychiatry and joining Mid-Atlantic Long Term Care, she practiced in family medicine and spent time in academia as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Educator. Shannon’s goal as a behavioral health clinician is to provide holistic, compassionate, and patient-centered care to patients in need of psychiatric evaluation and treatment. She specializes in the medical management of a wide variety of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions

In her free time, you can find Shannon hiking with her Bernedoodle at First Landing State Park or lifting weights with her husband in their garage gym. She also enjoys teaching and mentoring students on their journey to become medical professionals.
