National Social Work Day & Month 2022
Throughout the month of March, we celebrate National Social Worker Month and specifically those Licensed Clinical Social Workers that are a part of Mid Atlantic Long Term Care. This is a special celebration for MALTC as Social Workers are a new addition to our Behavioral Psych Team. These LCSWs hold a similar role to Psychologists whereas they provide emotional support, mental health evaluations, and therapy to older adults within our communities who experience psychological, emotional, and/or family challenges. Our MALTC LCSWs work closely with our primary care providers along with the staff in each community we serve. A special shoutout to both of our LCSWs as we celebrate this year’s Social Worker Month. You both are a huge asset to MALTC and the patients, providers, and staff you interact with. We thank you for all you do:
