Eating a Healthy Meal

In this day and age, it seems there are more healthy and natural options out there. Seek out a meal full of nutrients and that will fuel your mind and body. Set yourself up for a good day, both mentally and physically, with a good, healthy meal with natural ingredients.

Exercise

It can be as simple as taking a stroll around your neighborhood in the evening or walking around your building at lunch time. Getting up and moving your body has a number of benefits. Many people enjoy yoga or going to a gym regularly to get in a good sweat.

Rest

I think most of us love our sleep, right? Getting the right amount of rest can help us feel recharged and do our best at work and be present in our every day lives. Make sure to set aside time for a nap if you need it or go to bed early to ensure you have the proper amount of rest.

Water

This is a given! Drinking water is essential and allows your body to function properly making you feel like your best self!

Get Outdoors

Sunshine and nice weather just makes us happy. Make the most of these beautiful fall days by getting some fresh air!

Coffee In the Morning

Coffee / Tea

Take a moment in the morning to treat yourself to your favorite coffee or tea. There is something about the smell of freshly brewed coffee that just feels happy. We should all start our day on this positive note.

Try Something New

What is that one thing on your bucket list that you’ve wanted to do for a while now? Here is your sign you should do it! Get out there and experience something new. A change or new experience can change our outlook and perspective in a fresh and exciting way.

Spa Day

Spa Day

Some of us love a good spa day. Massages, saunas, pampering…yes, please! If a spa day isn’t an option, improvise! Buy some bath salts and light some candles, and enjoy your own personal spa day right in your own tub!

Write In a Journal

Your thoughts are important so why not write them down? Writing out frustrations, dreams, aspirations, or even just what you did that day, can clear your mind and allow you to reflect. How do your thoughts make you feel? Write it down!

Connect with Loved Ones

Another given. Self-care can include others, especially those whom make you feel the happiest and loved. Call your parents. Go out to dinner with your friend. Hug your child. Collect moments with the ones you love and enjoy their presence.
